This was an exceptional cleanup for us. It too place on a gorgeous spring day. We had nearly 50 volunteers including Friends, Boy Scouts, and members of the Tzu Chi Foundation who most generously provided us with lunch. We also had our new pup-up shelter! The Friends of Hemlock Gorge’s 40th Annual Fall Cleanup took place on Saturday, October 24, 2020 in very nice weather. We had a very good turnout despite the fact that, as was true of the Spring Cleanup, the event had be socially distanced.
