The Friends of Hemlock Gorge Annual Spring Cleanup took place on Saturday April 29. It was very successful. The Boy Scouts repainted the Ellis Street railings and worked on the Echo Platform Graffiti. Volunteers from the Tzu Chi Foundation helped clean up, provided a scrumptious vegetarian lunch, and were eager to learn the history of the Stone Building. And many of the Friends regular volunteers come by. All in all, it was one of our very best cleanup turnouts.
