The 2012 summer picnic took place Tuesday August 7 from 6 p.m. to dusk at Hamilton Place, off Central Avenue/Elliot Street, Needham, MA. There was a huge crowd, music by Broken Rose, courtesy of Karen Osborn-Shanley, a grill that got a lot of use, and absolutely perfect weather. Bonnie Pearson got everything organized; Brian gave a speech; the folks up for election stayed away; and everyone left full of inspiration and memories of good food, good friendship, and fun by the Charles River.
