SUMMARY:2026 Spring Cleanup of Hemlock Gorge
DESCRIPTION:The Friends' Annual Spring Cleanup of the park will take place 
 on Saturday\, May 2.\n\nParking is available at Hamilton Place on the Need
 ham side\, the Mills Falls parking lot\, and at the Hemlock Gorge parking 
 lot at the intersection of Ellis St. and Rte. 9. More details about gettin
 g to Hemlock Gorge can be found on the maps and directions page.\n\nVolunt
 eers should meet at Hamilton Place at 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. We will provide g
 loves\, trash bags\, and pick-up sticks. Dress appropriately for walking o
 ff the trails and the weather.\n\nWe will provide a pizza lunch starting a
 t 11:45am with drinks\, picnic tables and chairs for volunteers at the Sto
 ne Building. Let us know when you sign in if you would like lunch.\n\nThe 
 DCR will collect the trash bags the following week.
